Crew Lounge Sign-On Problems

We've just made an upgrade to our database and had to eliminate a lot of 'duplicate' records.  This means that if we had, say two records with the same file number and/or email address, we had to delete one of them.  Some of these records dated back to 2000 and the system was a big mess.

Unfortunately, we had no way of knowing which version was the correct record to delete, and many of our notification emails to ask members have been rejected by AOL -- or -- the email addresses are no longer valid.

Therefore, the best thing to do is simply register again.  You should receive your registration and confirmation within minutes. Go to this page >

Let us know if you have any further trouble. Sorry for the hassle.

Try the following solutions:

  • Are you a Crew Lounge member?  If you have not yet completed the membership application, you must do so before you can enter the Crew Lounge for the first time.  This is required in order to ensure that only UAL Employees are given access to the content within the Crew Lounge.
  • Did you forget your Password?  If so, please visit this page and request that it be sent to you.  To receive your password using this method, you will need to provide your Username and File Number. Don't know your Username? Read On.
  • Did you forget your Username and Password, or have changed your e-mail address since you initially applied for the Crew Lounge?  In other words, not really sure of any of this logon nonsense?  Then just contact us.

    Include the following information:

    1. Your full name
    2. Your File Number
    3. Your Domicile
    4. What problem you are having (be specific)

We'll sort it out and get back to you as quickly as possible.

  • IMPORTANT NOTICE TO AOL USERS:

After corresponding with UAL Flight Attendants on a daily basis for many years, I have concluded that America Online is an unreliable e-mail provider

I am sick and tired of dealing with AOL and will no longer support AOL e-mail addresses. If you are submitting an AOL e-mail address for Crew Lounge registration and/or forgotten password request, and have not heard back from us within a week, it's probably because AOL did not deliver the e-mail to your inbox.

We have seen just too many problems with e-mail delivery for AOL users.  Without warning, flight attendant messages bounce back, get rejected, or just 'disappear' into AOL thin air. We don't even bother trying to contact those applicants using an alternate means (Unimatic or carrier pigeon) anymore.

Best Advice: Use a non-AOL e-mail address for registration with Jumpseatnews.  Period. Get a free e-mail address at www.yahoo.com or www.gmail.com or whatever.

Again, if you are using AOL exclusively for your e-mail, you are strongly urged to obtain an alternate e-mail provider to receive your JSN username and password confirmation.
