Unimatic Fix for Windows Vista

We offer no technical support for this dumb fix---it's one of those bugs we discovered late at night while your children slept and all was quiet on the prairie. Also: United Airlines official policy excludes support of Windows Vista.

The Problem

If you need to access Unimatic on a default installation of Windows Vista, you may have Java problems.

The Fix

This is because everyone has been using an older version of the Sun JRE. For Windows Vista to work with Unimatic, you need to download and install the Sun JRE 5.0 Update 9 or higher.

Follow the instructions on the installation page.

That's it! You can now access SkyNet on IE 7 on Windows Vista.

Once you have installed the JRE update, you should see the following entry in your Programs and Features area:

Sun JRE in Windows Vista Add/Remove Programs List

If you see this there, try and going to www.gounimatic.com. You should then be able to access Unimatic.
