There two kinds of training:
You are considered qualified if the training code appears in the TRNPRG screen and a date and instructor number is entered under the DATE and INSTR# column next to the training code. Remember, not all training listed in this screen is required by the FAA to fly.You are not considered not qualified if the training code does not appear in the TRNPRG screen. If the training is required by the FAA, you will not be qualified to fly until training is completed. A diagnostic error code will also appear in your line of flying. See below for a list of training specific diagnostic codes.Yep, I started flying in 1996, but didn't get IST qualified until Jan 12, 1997. The IT code has been divided into the two parts of flight attendant initial training, BASIC (Basic Indoctrination) and AIRGR (Aircraft Ground Training). Everyone who has attended Initial Training and has a date in their FDTR screen will now have BASIC and AIRGR displaying their Initial Training date. Since both flight attendants and crew schedulers share the responsibility of ensuring necessary training has been completed and correctly recorded in the training record system prior to flying, it is extremely important to check these screens after, say, RET. To prevent fines, removal from trips, reassignments, or other unpleasantness, make sure you check these screens.
